Horizontal peeler centrifuge ProCent® P 125 B XXL Turbo ATEX delivery after FAT

For a global player in the chemical industry, Krettek Separation GmbH has recently delivered a horizontal peeler centrifuge type ProCent® P 125 B XXL Turbo in ATEX design.

The customer specific designed system unit in proven Krettek skid execution will be ATEX certified.

With compact inertization, the machine is designed for gas- and dust-Ex for installation in zone 1 / 21.

The Krettek backwash rotor with its well-known process variability as the core piece allows the implementation of various options and process control according to customer specifications.

Uniquely high g-force factors of the turbo version with, at the same time significantly larger filter area for comparable rotor diameters, make the energy efficiency and sustainability of the customer’s entire plant possible through best washing and dewatering results.

Thanks to the skid-unit design without the need for a separate swing foundation, the customer will be able to complete the installation within a very short time.

As with all Krettek centrifuges, the required tests including gas tightness according to DIN 24400-2 were performed and documented during the factory acceptance test of the system unit (FAT). In this case, oxygen displacement and related tracking controls and shutdowns have also been tested for the ATEX certification.

A maximum flexible control / programming especially for chemical applications is given and will precisely adjusted to the process requirements within the SAT.

The implementation in the complete plant of the Brazilian customer is planned for early 2022.
