The special features of the pharma centrifuge are the possibility for cleaning and inspection of the process area which will be given priority for the purpose of compliance of the GMP and FDA-regulations. Therefore the centrifuge is designed with a hinged housing which enables to inspect and clean the backside of the basket, too. Additionally possible existing residual layers can be removed without problems by a stationary pneumatic nozzle system, which blows from the backside against the filter element type “Confect”. A special tensioning device ensures that the system “Confect” can be replaced easily and quickly.
